Issued to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, this coin commemorates the end of the Second World War in Europe and the freedom it restored.

Struck as legal tender by the Solomon Islands (50 cents denomination), the design brings together a globe, doves in flight, and the flags of the Allied nations — a quiet tribute to unity and liberation in 1945.

At 65mm, it is more than twice the diameter of a standard commemorative coin — finished to a proof-like quality, gold plated, and individually engraved with its issue number. Presented in a premium display box with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The edition is limited to 450 pieces worldwide, individually numbered. This is the Founder's Edition — numbers 1 through 99, the first and lowest-numbered issues in the series. Piece No. 1 was set aside separately and donated to charity rather than sold.
